Following detailed review and reinterpretation of the historic data, Forgent identified seven priority target areas across the Karalundi, Junction and Curley’s prospects.
The Junction Prospect alone contained four key targets, where widely spaced historic drill fences had defined large near-surface intercepts of orogenic gold-bearing veins over strike lengths of up to 800m. The scale and spacing of this historic drilling left substantial areas between and along strike from the known mineralised intersections either lightly tested or entirely undrilled.
In July 2026, the Company completed its Phase 1 drilling programme, designed principally to test the geological interpretation and establish whether the targeted structures contained shallow gold mineralisation.
The programme returned encouraging gold assay results across multiple priority targets, including:
Importantly, Phase 1 achieved more than the identification of individual gold intercepts. The results validated key elements of the Company’s geological model and confirmed the presence of multiple shallow gold systems across the areas tested, providing a stronger geological basis from which to target subsequent drilling.
The work also identified a significant new, previously undrilled exploration corridor between Junction and Curley’s. This corridor is characterised by favourable structural setting, magnetic complexity and lithological controls and has become an important focus for follow-up exploration.
