Led by an experienced management team and supported by a dedicated technical capability in Perth, the Company is advancing a portfolio of highly prospective projects through disciplined exploration, resource growth and efficient development pathways.
Introduction
Forgent is an AIM listed critical and precious metals exploration company building value through the acquisition, exploration and development of gold, copper, nickel and PGE assets in Western Australia.
Our Strategy
- Acquire high quality, under-explored assets in established Western Australian mining districts.
- Focus on projects with demonstrated mineralization, high quality historic datasets and proximity to existing infrastructure.
- Create value through selectively deploying capital into exploration and development programmes that validate, expand and de-risk the portfolio’s resource potential.
A highly prospective, diversified portfolio
Forgent’s portfolio comprises three complementary Western Australian assets, providing exposure to gold, copper, nickel and PGE mineralisation. The portfolio combines advanced exploration at Peak Hill, an existing nickel-copper-PGE resource at Mount Sholl and high-grade early-stage copper-gold discovery potential at Green Rock.
- Peak Hill (99%) — an advanced, large-scale gold-copper exploration project with nine defined prospects supported by extensive historic and recent Forgent drilling
- Mount Sholl (option to acquire 80%) — a nickel-copper-PGE project with an existing JORC Mineral Resource Estimate and significant resource growth potential
- Green Rock (99%) — an early-stage, high-grade copper-gold project with multiple untested surface prospects and strong discovery potential
Legacy technology background and optionality
Forgent’s origins lie in EQTEC, a proprietary gasification technology validated over more than a decade of commercial operation converting waste and biomass feedstocks into energy. Following a strategic review, the Board is focusing the Group’s efforts and capital primarily on its Australian mining strategy. The EQTEC technology business is retained as a legacy asset under strategic review, sitting outside the Group’s core focus and providing optionality without diverting management attention or capital from the mining portfolio.
Group structure
Forgent plc is incorporated in Ireland and quoted on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (ticker: FORG). Forgent Australia Pty Ltd is the Group’s wholly owned Australian subsidiary, established to hold and advance the Group’s Western Australian mining interests.
